Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Demofied, you agree to these Terms of Use and the applicable terms provided by Apple. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. What Demofied provides

Demofied provides tools for composing device mockups, editing screenshots and screen recordings, adding camera motion and audio, and exporting images and demo videos. Features may be added, changed, limited, or removed as the app evolves.

3. License

Subject to these terms, Demofied grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store usage rules.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the screenshots, screen recordings, photos, audio, voiceovers, and other content you create in Demofied. You are responsible for your content and must have the right to use it. Do not create or store content that is unlawful, infringes another person's rights, or violates these terms.

5. Responsible use

You agree not to misuse Demofied. In particular, you may not:

• Use the app for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes
• Attempt to disrupt, damage, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the app, except where applicable law permits
• Bypass purchase access, security controls, or other built-in protections
• Copy, resell, sublicense, or distribute Demofied or its proprietary materials without permission

6. App purchase and billing

Demofied is free to download, with every editing tool and three free exports total. Each successfully exported image or video counts as one export, including each file in a batch. Failed or cancelled exports do not consume the allowance. The free allowance is stored locally in the device Keychain and may remain after reinstalling. It does not sync between devices.

You can also buy consumable packs of 25 export credits at the price shown by the App Store. Each credit covers one successfully exported image or video. Free exports are used first. Credits do not expire and are not spent while Pro is active. The balance and transaction delivery records are stored in this device’s Keychain. Credits do not sync between devices and are not restored by Restore purchases. Erasing the device or losing its Keychain can lose unused credits. Refunds remove the corresponding credits; credits already spent from a refunded purchase are deducted from future credit purchases.

Demofied Pro provides unlimited exports through monthly or yearly auto-renewable subscriptions, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices and billing periods are shown before purchase in your App Store currency. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings.

Lifetime purchases unlock Demofied Pro for the lifetime of the app and do not create a subscription. A limited launch lifetime offer may be available at a reduced price. Buying lifetime does not cancel an existing subscription; cancel it through Apple to prevent further renewals. Restore purchases in Demofied to recover eligible purchases on another device using the same Apple Account. Purchases are governed by Apple's Standard License Agreement.

7. Refunds

Since purchases are handled by Apple, billing disputes and refund requests should be made through Apple Support and are governed by Apple's policies.

8. Intellectual property

Demofied, including its software, design, branding, and app-provided materials, is owned by the service provider or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of Demofied or its intellectual property to you.

9. Third-party services

Demofied uses Apple platform services and offers optional Unsplash photo search through a Cloudflare-hosted proxy. Your use of third-party photos must comply with the applicable Unsplash license and rights of the people, brands, or property depicted. Your use of external services is subject to their terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party services or for interruptions caused by them.

10. Exported content

Demofied is a creative tool. You are responsible for checking your exports, including their dimensions, quality, content, and compliance with the requirements of any destination where you publish them. Device mockups do not imply endorsement by Apple or another device manufacturer.

11. Availability and changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of Demofied at any time. We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that it will remain compatible with every device or operating-system version.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Demofied is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service provider will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, projects, profits, or opportunities arising from or related to your use of Demofied. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Termination

You may stop using Demofied at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the app if you materially violate these terms, misuse the app, or when necessary to protect Demofied, its users, or others. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Demofied evolves or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when revisions are posted. Continued use of Demofied after revised terms take effect means you accept them.
